SHOW STOPPER

When it comes to local theaters and entertainment, Sacramento steals the show.

THE BRICKHOUSE GALLERY

Formerly the Sorarrco Sheet Metal Works Company, The Brickhouse Gallery has converted to a charismatic venue for local artists and community events. The space also has 9 rental artists' studios, which provide an inspiring space for artists to create in the heart of the historic Oak Park.

B STREET THEATER

Since bursting into the Sacramento scene, B Street Theater continues to keep critics raving and audiences coming back for contemporary productions ranging from popular classics to first time debuts – both on the Mainstage and the Family Series, ideally suited to children.

GUILD THEATER

Established in 1915, Guild Theater is the only remaining entertainment destination in Oak Park from its time. St. HOPE, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to revitalize inner-city communities, has updated and restored the Guild Theater and currently showcases film, lectures and live performances.

CREST THEATER

The Crest Theater is a fully restored historic landmark located in downtown Sacramento, just blocks from the State Capitol. During the 1950s, it was one of the premier first-run movie palaces in the area, and today it hosts community events, concerts and independent/foreign films.

IMAX ESQUIRE

Fresh popcorn, comfy seats, and incredible picture quality, – IMAX Esquire is Sacramento’s best 3D cinematic experience.

TOWER CAFE AND THEATER

Your parents, and even your parents' parents have had a romantic movie night here. This iconic landmark remains a beautiful architectural example of late 1930s art deco design. And no matter which movie you see, you’ll still feel as though you’ve traveled back in time.

GOLDEN 1 CENTER

This indoor arena and concert venue is home to the National Basketball Association's Sacramento Kings. The center has hosted legends from Paul McCartney to Stevie Nicks and modern day superstars like Lady Gaga and Kanye West. See who’s playing when you’re in town!
