CHEERS UP

It was stiff competition, but let’s toast to the top ten bars in Sacramento.

RED BUS BREWING COMPANY

Modeled after the ’68 Volkswagen Transporter bus, Red Bus Brewing Company rolled into town in early 2018 and is Folsom’s first home grown brewery since the 1880s. They feature a wide variety of beers with a focus on traditional styles, along with some creative interpretations of today’s ever-changing beer scene. All of Red Bus’ beers are brewed with an open book, allowing anyone curious intimate access to the recipes and beer production process.

TRACK 7 BREWING COMPANY

With the highest quality ingredients and an unceasing dedication to the art of beer brewing, Track 7 creates exciting, richly flavored, award-winning beer. The brewery’s name comes from its proximity to the old Western Pacific Railroad tracks, and with a product so delicious, we couldn’t be hoppier.

PUNCH BOWL SOCIAL

The Punch Bowl is a mix of everything cool that doesn’t try to be cool. It’s an unfussy place stocked with music, food (chicken and waffles), games (bowling and shuffleboards) and beverages (everything you can drink of) and a bunch of people who just want to be themselves and hang out.

BAR R15

Located in midtown Sacramento, R15 is a one-of-a-kind urban experience. It’s a place to get together with friends in a comfortable and social environment, but with way more channels. Featuring pool tables, tons of flat screen monitors, and hundreds of networks (think access to every sport ever) you can make yourself at home at R15.

JACKRABBIT BREWERY

With names like Monk Belly and Electric Rabbit, these beers are anything but ordinary. Jackrabbit all began in 2011 when four avid homebrewers came together to create Belgian, English and German brews, but with a California-style twist. They pour their passion for beer into every ounce and recently won first place in a craft brewing competition.

OUT OF BOUNDS BREWING COMPANY

Graduates of the UC Davis Master Brewers program, Michael Sulfita and Brennen Holmes bring years of Pacific Northwest brewing experience to your taste buds. Enjoy award-winning, handcrafted beer that’s totally out of bounds.

FACES NIGHTCLUB

Three dance floors, fourteen bars, one VIP lounge and a heated outdoor pool, Sacramento’s premier 21+ gay nightclub offers dancing and socializing in a fun and judgment-free atmosphere.

DIVE BAR

Normally, when you hear the words “dive bar”, you don’t imagine mermaids diving into a 7,500-gallon aquarium suspended above your head. But, in a dramatic example of a play on words, Dive Bar is exactly that. A haven of electric charm, dramatic scenery and cool cocktails, this is the place to go for a vintage good time.

YOLO BREWING COMPANY

You only live once, so you better visit this award-winning, hand-crafted brewing company in none other than Yolo County. Enjoy great food, craft beer, or get hands-on with their DIY, Personal Brewing Experience. With the help of expert craftsmen, every batch ends up amazing. After all, “beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.”

THE PARK ULTRA LOUNGE

Northern California’s most popular nightclub and lounge, The Park brings in the hottest DJs, plays the latest pop music and gives downtown Sacramento an undeniable burst of energy.

LOWBRAU

This modern take on the traditional German Bierhalle offers a selection of beers, wines, and ciders, hearty sides and sandwiches, plus a variety of flavorful specialty meat sausages prepared at the block butcher bar. Step into another world at this fun local hotspot.
